Blueberry and vanilla over a dark, roasted base.
Most fruit-forward herbal coffees lean light and tea-like — bright, thin-bodied, closer to an iced fruit tea than a cup of coffee. Blueberry Vanilla doesn't. Vibrant blueberry and creamy vanilla extract sit over a dark roasted chicory and dandelion base, landing closer to dark chocolate with berries folded in than anything resembling a typical fruit tea.
It's caffeine-free and made without barley, so the deep flavor here isn't coming from caffeine or wheat — just the roast underneath the fruit.
Most fruit teas are built on unroasted hibiscus or berries, which is part of why they read as light and bright. This one starts from roasted chicory and dandelion root instead — the same dark, slightly bitter base used in the lineup's chocolate blends — so the blueberry and vanilla land on top of something with actual weight to it, rather than floating on their own.
Organic carob, organic chicory, organic dandelion, organic dates, organic natural blueberry flavor, and organic vanilla extract. Made without barley; made on machinery that also processes almonds.
Use it in a French press, drip machine, or pour-over, roughly one rounded tablespoon per two cups of water. Holds up well as a cold brew too.
Acid-free and GMO-free. Available in a 10oz bag. Caffeine-free. Made without barley. Made on machinery that also processes almonds. A Teeccino blend, carried at Made Brave.
Anyone who wants fruit flavor without a thin, tea-like body. Dark-roast fans looking for something a little different from a straight chocolate or plain blend. Evening cups, since there's no caffeine to worry about.
