One candle, three scent notes, for the minute you actually notice what's good.
Gratitude is easy to mean and easy to forget. The Grateful Candle isn't a reminder taped to a mirror — it's a scent that shows up in the room and asks for thirty seconds of attention, however you want to spend them.
Light it while you make coffee. Light it before you write down three things. Light it for no reason at all and let the smell do the noticing for you.
Spearmint, lemongrass, lemon, and eucalyptus open it up first, bright and a little sharp. Buchu, clove, geranium, lavender, and blackcurrant carry the middle. Cedarwood sits underneath the whole thing, grounding it once the top notes fade. It's designed to change slightly the longer it burns, so the candle you light isn't quite the one you're smelling an hour in.
This candle is hand-poured in the UK from 100% natural soy rapeseed wax with a 100% lead-free cotton wick — no paraffin, no plastic, nothing synthetic in the fragrance. Just pure essential oils, in a recyclable glass vessel with compostable, FSC-certified packaging.
On the first burn, let the wax melt evenly out to the edge of the vessel before you blow it out — this keeps the candle burning flat instead of tunneling down the middle on every burn after. Keep it away from drafts, vents, and air currents for a cleaner, steadier flame. Trim the wick before each relight. Estimated burn time is 45 hours total.
200g / 7oz. 100% aromatherapy-grade pure essential oil fragrance, 100% natural soy rapeseed wax, paraffin-free, plastic-free, vegan. 100% lead-free cotton wick. Recyclable glass vessel. Recyclable and compostable packaging on FSC-certified paper. Hand-poured in the UK. Approximately 45-hour burn time. Made by Intelligent Change.
A kitchen counter that could use one good smell instead of five competing ones. Lighting alongside a morning journal or gratitude practice. A gift for someone who'd never buy herself a candle like this but would love to receive one. Anyone who wants a scent that shifts instead of staying flat the whole burn.
You don't have to feel grateful to light it. Sometimes the candle gets there first.
