Handwoven Natural & Black Checkerboard Bolga Basket - Large Round

This large round Bolga-style basket is handwoven in Ghana from elephant grass, with sections dyed black and worked into a two-tone checkerboard pattern. Getting the squares to line up as the basket curves takes more planning than a solid-color weave.
