One hundred prompts, three chapters, for the year you stop going through the motions.
Most journals ask you to reflect. This one asks you to actually change something — which prompt after prompt, page after page, is a slower and harder thing to do. It was built from four years of workshops distilled down to the exercises that worked, not the ones that just felt good to write.
There's no finish line and no daily quota. Some pages you'll fly through. Others will take a week before you're ready to answer honestly.
The journal moves through three sections: Gratitude, to notice what's already working. Facing Fears, to name what you've been avoiding instead of managing around it. Self-Discovery, to put language to who you actually are underneath the roles you play. Each chapter opens with a short introduction before the prompts start, and every page gets its own space — no cramming a real answer into three lines.
This journal comes out of We Are Warriors, the wellness community co-founded by Alexis Ren and Allie Michelle, built on four years of in-person workshop material. The oversized B5 format exists because of that history — the exercises were written for real notebooks and long answers, not a standard journal's margins.
Work through the three chapters in order, or skip to whichever one matches where you are right now. There's no daily structure to keep up with — open it once a week, once a day, or only when something's sitting heavy enough to need the page. Read the chapter introduction before you start its prompts; they set up what the exercises are actually asking. Let some answers take longer than one sitting.
186 pages, undated, 100+ prompts across three chapters. 100% recycled, compostable, FSC-certified paper. Bound in 100% cotton fabric with 100% cotton sew binding and one cotton ribbon marker. B5 size. Made by Intelligent Change.
Anyone who's done the surface-level gratitude journal and wants to go further. A slower project than a 5-minute-a-day journal — built for someone with the time and the willingness to sit in it. Facing a specific fear or transition that a quick prompt won't touch. A meaningful gift for a friend who's ready for real change, not just a nicer notebook.
Going through the motions is easy. This is the version where you stop.
