For the room that wants edges, not curves.
Wooj built its name on the soft, biomorphic waves of the original Wavy Lamp. The Brut Lamp is its deliberate opposite — sharp, uncompromising geometry drawn from Brutalist architecture, with the same warm heart underneath. Where Wavy flows, Brut stands.
Influenced by the work of architect Carlo Scarpa, the Brut weaves in tactile details inspired by aluminum extrusions and industrial materials — clean lines, intentional texture, a confident silhouette. It reads as modern sculpture that happens to light the room.
The structured shade shapes the glow into something a little more directional and a lot more architectural — warm ambient light with presence. It grounds a console, anchors a bookshelf, and gives a bedside real character without stealing the whole room.
Each Brut is 3D printed to order in Wooj's small Brooklyn studio, layer by layer, on demand, with nothing wasted. Minor variations in color and texture come with the printing process — which means the one on your shelf exists nowhere else.
Wired table lamp. Brutalist-inspired geometry with industrial texture details. 3D printed and assembled to order in Brooklyn, New York. Minor variations in color and texture are part of the process. Available in Smoke, Matte Black, and Eggshell.
Rooms with a modern or minimal backbone that need one strong piece. Desks and offices where the lighting should mean business but still feel warm. Design lovers who lean architectural over organic. A statement gift for the person whose apartment looks like a magazine spread.
Bold form, warm light — proof the two were never opposites.
