This handwoven boho tapestry is made by hand in Panipat, Haryana, a region of India known for generations of handloom textile work. Each piece comes off a foot-pedal handloom the same way it always has, built from recycled cotton yarn that's been purchased in local markets and mill-dyed into a soft, sustainable palette of cream, pink, grey, and charcoal.

The finished piece measures 18 by 28 inches, with a cream fringe along the bottom edge for that easy, lived-in bohemian finish. A cotton loop makes it simple to hang.

Artisan-Made, Recycled by Design

The weaving group behind this piece is small, about ten artisans, most of them women. Men work in the shared workshop, while women weave much of it from home, earning an income while managing their households. When orders are larger, the group brings in other women from the village, spreading the work further. It's a small operation with a real, traceable impact.
