Scaffold Lamp

A paper lantern that decided to get serious about structure.

The Scaffold Lamp, designed in collaboration with Nigh Collective, starts from the quiet warmth of a paper lantern and gives it a spine. Its form suggests a grid cage wrapped tightly in paper — a repeating, structured pattern softened by playful, sculptural curves. Architectural and warm at the same time, which is a rarer combination than it should be.

The shade makes the statement at full scale, while the base echoes the same form in a smaller, convex silhouette — a call-and-response that gives the whole piece rhythm and balance. It elevates a room without shouting at it.

The Light Itself

The gridded shade breaks the glow into a soft, even pattern — warm ambient light with just enough visual texture to make a wall or corner interesting after dark. Clean lines by day, gentle atmosphere by night.
